Description

The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed the practice of law from the physical office to the remote office, with attorneys working in basements, at their kitchen tables and other non-traditional remote locations. The sudden need to work remotely raises technological and ethical concerns for attorneys and their staff. To assist attorneys deal with their newly imposed reliance on remote technology, bar associations, including the Pennsylvania Bar Association, have offered ethical guidance, and have also based guidance in part on ABA opinions. This program will explore the ethical considerations for all attorneys, and provide practical advice how attorneys may address these issues now, and at any other time.
